USPA FRUIT at Gulfood’2020

For the third time USPA FRUIT as exhibitor took part in the 25th edition of Gulfood, the world’s largest annual food & beverage trade exhibition, which was held on 16-20 February 2019, in Dubai, UAE. This year, Gulfood set a record: more than 100,000 visitors and more than 5,000 companies from over 200 different countries participated in show which held in Dubai World Trade Center. 120 country pavilions showcased products across 8 primary market sectors.

Gulfood is very important for us because the geography of supplies of USPA FRUT company is very wide, thus it is very important for our company to have personal communication with existing customers discussing business: how we can improve and widen our cooperation, analyze the previous season and build the plans.

Participation in the Gulfood 2020 exhibition brought us very good results. We met a lot of our partners from the Arabian (Persian) Gulf, India, Africa, which, with help of USPA Fruit, already tried the best, selected Ukrainian apples, other Ukrainian fruits and berries. It was surprise to hear so high level of USPA Fruit brand recognition from all around the region. Besides our direct contracts, customers from Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, India and countries from African continent already know the product, it’s high quality buying USPA fruits through Dubai (as huge regional hub) or via third parties and now they want to work with us directly as well. As of top priority we consider direct cooperation with local retailers — with two retail chains we are working already and in negotiations with another two. We felt huge demand from Africa, to our mind this continent will be very demanding for Ukrainian fruits in the nearest years.
